We set her apartment up to be 100% functional from day one. The transition was a significant change, and we wanted to make sure she would be comfortable her first night. We also made sure that someone from the community met with her before we left. We just felt better knowing that she knew who to contact, where things were, and what time the dining room opened for dinner.
